Hi everybody,

un nouveau lundi et un nouveau challenge chez Simon Says Stamp. Voici donc ma troisième participation au "designer spotlight". Que le temps passe vite.

A new monday and a new Simon Says Stamp challenge. Here is my third participation in the "designer spotlight". Time pass quickly.

Cette semaine, il fallait ajouter de la texture à notre projet. Mon projet, une page de livre pour enfants que je commence aujourd'hui. La star sera ce joli lapin au look déjanté, son nom est Oliver, Tim HOLTZ l'a baptisé ainsi. Le titre de mon livre sera: "Oliver au fil des saisons". Aujourd'hui, c'est la Saint Valentin et Oliver est en retard (comme le lapin d'Alice aux pays des merveilles. Dessin animé dont je suis une grande fan.), il doit ramasser beaucoup de coeur afin d'offrir un panier plein d'amour à sa dulcinée......

This week, we had to add texture to our project. My project, a children’s book page that I’m starting today. The star will be this pretty rabbit with a crazy look, its name is Oliver, Tim HOLTZ named it so. The title of my book will be: "Oliver au fil des saisons". Today is Valentine’s Day and Oliver is late (like the rabbit of Alice in Wonderland. Cartoon of which I am a big fan.), he has to pick up a lot of heart in order to offer a basket full of love to his sweetheart...

Let's talk about the make:

Le fond, j'ai utilisé du papier aquarelle sur lequel j'ai appliqué des encres DISTRESS speckles egg, antique linen classique et oxyde, broken china oxyde, faded jean oxyde. Appliquer les encres sur votre surface, la mienne est le glass mat de Tim Holtz, vaporiser de l'eau et poser le papier dessus, sécher, reposer le papier et ainsi de suite jusqu'à ce que le résultat convienne. Tamponner quelques montres avec la DISTRESS oxyde Speckled egg et des mots du set de tampons CMS110 avec la DISTRESS ground espresso. Avec le pochoir TH077, appliquer de la texture paste opaque matte de RANGER, saupoudrer de poudres DISTRESS embossing Glaze peeled paint et tattered rose. Laisser sécher la pâte de texture et embosser. Jeter des gouttes d'eau sur le fond et saupoudrer de la poudre à embosser transparent vernis mélangé avec un peu d'or. Embosser Et voilà:

the background, I used watercolour paper on which I applied ink DISTRESS speckles egg, antique linen classic and oxide, broken china oxide, faded jeans oxide. Apply the inks on your surface, mine is the matte glass of Tim Holtz, spray the water and lay the paper on it, dry, rest the paper and so on until the result is right.Stamp a few watches with the DISTRESS oxide Speckled egg and words from the CMS110 stamp set with the DISTRESS ground espresso.With the stencil TH077, apply matte opaque paste texture from RANGER, sprinkle with powders DISTRESS embossing Glaze peeled paint and tattered rose. Let the texture paste dry and emboss.Throw drops of water on the background and sprinkle with embossing powder transparent varnish mixed with a little gold. Emboss, et voilà:

Les arbres: j'ai utilisé le die "birch trees" de LAWN FAWN et le die 661806 de Tim HOLTZ. J'ai fait les découpes dans des fonds que j'avais réalisé avec encres DISTRESS.

The trees: I used the die "birch trees "of LAWN FAWN and the die 661806 of Tim HOLTZ. I made the cuts in backgrounds that I had made with DISTRESS inks.

Le panier: de l'encre DISTRESS vintage photo et ground espresso sur du papier aquarelle, embosser avec le tout nouvel embossing folder de Tim HOLTZ 664184.

The basket: vintage photo DISTRESS ink and ground espresso on watercolor paper, emboss with the brand new embossing folder of Tim HOLTZ 664184.

Les coeurs: de l'encre DISTRESS aged mahogany et fired brick, embossée avec de la poudre transparent pailleté, découpés avec le die Tim HOLTZ TH664415

Hearts: DISTRESS ink aged mahogany and fired brick, embossed with glittery transparent powder, cut with die Tim HOLTZ TH664415

La montre: un ancien tampon, de l'encre VERSAMARK, de la poudre à embosser or ultra fine de chez RANGER, du GLOSSY ACCENT pour donner l'illusion de la vitre. Elle est attachée à Oliver par une chaîne maintenue en place grâce à du DISTRESS COLLAGE MEDIUM MATTE.

The watch: an old stamp, VERSAMARK ink, ultra fine gold embossed powder from RANGER, GLOSSY ACCENT to give the illusion of the glass. It is attached to Oliver by a chain held in place by DISTRESS COLLAGE MEDIUM MATTE.

Oliver: découpé dans différents BAZZILL et de la feutrine, avec le die de Tim HOLTZ 665219. J'ai remplacé les yeux par des coeurs découpés avec le die de Simon Says Stamp "holiday shapes". Je lui ai mis le costume du lapin d'Alice aux pays des merveilles: pour le gilet, j'ai embossé du BAZZILL orange avec de la DISTRESS powder spiced marmelade, qui malheureusement a été retirée du marché. Pour la veste, j'ai embossé du BAZZILL rouge avec de la DISTRESS EMBOSSING GLAZE fired brick. Le parapluie a été découpé avec le tout nouveau die de Tim HOLTZ 665204.

Oliver: cut in different BAZZILL and felt, with a die of Tim HOLTZ 665219. I replaced the eyes with hearts cut out with the die of Simon Says Stamp "holiday shapes". I put on the costume of the rabbit of Alice in Wonderland: for the vest, I embossed the orange BAZZILL with DISTRESS powder spiced marmelade, which unfortunately was retired from the market. For the jacket, I embossed red BAZZILL with DISTRESS EMBOSSING GLAZE fired brick. The umbrella has been cut with the brand new die of Tim HOLTZ 665204.

Et pour finir, Oliver saute pour ramasser ses coeurs, c'est pourquoi sa montre lui a échappé. Pour l'effet, j'ai utilisé le die de LAWN FAWN "let's toast pull tab add-on".

And finally, Oliver jumps to pick up his hearts, which is why his watch escaped him. For the effect, I used the die of LAWN FAWN "let’s toast pull tab add-on".
