Simon Says Stamp challenge: USE AN EMBOSSING FOLDER

Hi everyone,

mon dernier lundi en tant qu'invitée de l'équipe de Simon Says Stamp monday challenge. Ce fût un réel plaisir et un honneur d'avoir été choisie pour être au côté de l'équipe des designers du blog pour tout le mois de janvier 2022.

My last Monday as a guest to the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge blog. It was a real pleasure and an honour to have been chosen to be at the side of the team of designers of the blog for the whole month of January 2022.

This week, the challenge is: use an embossing folder

Ma fille me réclamait un book nook depuis longtemps, j'ai profité du challenge pour le réaliser. Voici quelques photos.

My daughter wanted a book nook for a very long time, i took the advantage of the challenge to make it. Here are some photos.

Je suis partie d'une boîte de glaces MAGNUM

I took a MAGNUM packaging

Je l'ai ouverte et j'ai dessiné le plan sur un côté

I opened it and drew the plan on one side

J'ai coupé les papiers qui devaient représenter les bibliothèques, et tracer l'emplacement des livres.

I cut the papers that were supposed to represent the libraries, and trace the locations of the books.

À l'aide de mon grand MISTI, j'ai tamponné les rangées de livres avec une encre compatible avec des copics.

With my big MISTI, i stamped the books with a friendly COPICS ink.

Et je les ai coloriés.

And i colored them.

J'ai ensuite réalisé le sol avec du papier, de l'encre DISTRESS en spray et je l'ai embossé avec le Tim HOLTZ mini LUMBER 3D embossing folder. De la même façon, j'ai réalisé les montant de la bibliothèque.

I made the floor with white paper, DISTRESS spray inks in oxyde and stain and i embossed it with the Tim HOLTZ mini LUMBER 3D embossing folder. In the same way, i made the amount of the library.

Dans lequel j'ai créer un vitrail avec un die de chez SCRAPPYTAILS, du papier calque et des Tim HOLTZ encres à alcool de chez RANGER.

In which I created a stained glass window with a die from SCRAPPYTAILS, vellum and Tim HOLTZ alcohol inks from RANGER.

Pour le bureau et la lampe, j'ai utilisé les tampons et dies de LAWN FAWN "you're just my type". J'ai placé la dernière led au niveau de la lampe. J'ai choisi d'utiliser une guirlandes de leds qui se branche sur le secteur.

For the desk and the lamp, I used the stamps and dies of LAWN FAWN "you’re just my type". I placed the last led at the level of the lamp. I chose to use a string of leds that plugs into the sector.

Ensuite, j'ai réalisé l'extérieur du book nook en me servant de la boîte dépliée pour découper mes papiers. J'ai utilisé des DISTRESS en spray, de l'encre ALADINE izink shiny, de la distress chipped sapphire avec un applicateur mousse et un pochoir HERO ARTS pour les motifs vagues.

Then I made the outside of the nook book using the unfolded box to cut my papers. I used DISTRESS spray, ALADINE izink shiny ink, chipped sapphire distress with a foam applicator and HERO ARTS stencil for waves patterns.

Le titre a été découpé dans du Tim HOLTZ metallic kraft paper, avec le dies set alphanumeric varsity de SIZZIX. L'erreur dans l'orthographe du titre n'est pas là par hasard, cela fait référence à un souvenir. Les coins ont été découpés avec un autre die de chez SCRAPPYTAILS. Le livre a été embossé avec de la VERSAMARK et de la poudre gold extra fine de chez ALADINE.

The title was cut from Tim HOLTZ metallic kraft paper, with the dies set alphanumeric varsity by SIZZIX. The error in the spelling of the title is not by chance, it refers to a memory. The corners have been cut with another die from SCRAPPYTAILS. The book was embossed with VERSAMARK and extra fine gold powder from ALADINE.

Sur le dos de la couverture, mon sceau créé spécialement pour moi, par ALADINE; ils ont un site où l'on peut faire réaliser à peu prêt tout ce que l'on veut. Mais cela fera l'objet d'un autre article.

On the back of the blanket, my seal created especially for me, by ALADINE; they have a site where you can have everything you want ready. But this will be the subject of another article.
