An other make for the new Simon says stamp Monday challenge: make your own background.
The background:
Put some alcohol ink solution on white YUPO paper, blow with a straw or with the Tim Holtz ink air blower (it's better). Put some 95° alcohol droplets and blow again. When you like the result, with a mini mister, spray a fine mists of 95° alcohol when drying with the Tim hOLTZ heat it craft tool ( be careful not spraying over the heat tool). I inked the edges with the black soot archival ink pad.
The apple:
I die cut it with the new Tim Holtz Sizzix trick or teat dies; In inked papers with spray distress inks, stain and oxyde. In brown, red, orange and green. In the way to have different shades. To see where stamping, i placed the apple on the background before.
The stamping:
The stamp i used is an old one: Tim Holtz Stampersanonymous CMS050 but you could use other Tim Holtz Halloween stamps.
To stamp on slick surfaces you need permanent inks. My favorite one is the Ranger archival ink, in various colors.
The skeleton, HAPPY & trick or treat: Tim Holtz black soot HALLOWEEN: Ranger Wendy Vecchi Archival RED GERANIUM Spider webs: Ranger Wendy Vecchi Archival FERN GREEN
Then mat it on black card stock, a printed paper, and again black card stock.
And it's done. A very simply card.
Every week you can participate to the challenge and could be the 25 $ voucher winner .
And you could have the pleasure to be featured in the designer spotlight. Come on to play with us.
