Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge.

EMBOSS IT

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following the week’s prompt. How AWESOME is that!!

This week, i recycle a wood plank, my daughter offered to me for mother's day when she was at school.

THE BACKGROUND

- I painted the plank with black gesso

DIE CUTTING

- The leaves and flowers

° I die cut the leaves and the flowers with Tim Holtz FUNKY FLORAL #2 die, you can use the FUNKY FLORAL #1

° colored them with distress inks: victorian velvet and peeled paint

° glued them at the top of the woman's head

° Glued pearls in the flowers center

- The trims

° In black cardstock, i die cut 5 times, the trims with Tim Holtz decorative trims die. Glued them together and glued the piece at the bottom of the plank.

with a dry paint brush, i applied Aladine gold paint.

- with a Simon Says Stamp flowers embossing folder (from July 2021 card

kit) i embossed a white paper and did the black technique:

° Worked on the embossed back side

° colored the flowers and leaves with tiny ink brushes and distress inks mustard seed, victorian velvet and peeled paint.

° applied Versafine  onyx black ink, with the ink pad, all over the surface.

- On the plank, i glued the embossed background .

- At the top, i applied Tim Holtz texture paste black opaque with the stencil THS032

 - Once dry, with a dry brush, i applied Aladine gold paint  all over the texture paste. Not on the embossed paper.

THE STAMPING: With Tim Holtz rubber stamps classic #5

- with Versafine onyx black ink, i stamped the woman's face and colored with distress ink re inkers: faded jean, tattered rose and lumberjack plaid.

- with Versamark ink, i stamped the sentiment an embossed it with Simon Says Stamp ultra fine gold embossing powder.

ASSEMBLAGE

-  paper flowers tinted with victorian velvet distress ink

- Tim Holtz metal idea-ology, distress with Aladine gold paint

- mummy cloth tinted with peeled paint distress ink.

- gold trim, white pearl and pen to write from my stash.

I wish you get inspired. It's time for you to create.

Thanks for stopping by
