An other week in the designer spotlight.

This week, i made a big tag cut into chipboard. It mesures 5 3/4 inches / 9 inches.
THE BACKGROUND
I covered the entire surface with black gesso. Then, with Tim Holtz distress collage medium matte, i covered all the surface with Tim Holtz idea-ology collage strips large.
Then i made a collage scene glueing, with Tim Holtz distress collage medium matte, various Tim Holtz idea- ology ephemera: 2024 Halloween layers and paper dolls, 2025 Halloween layers and paper dolls, 2025 Halloween ephemera.
I inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink walnut stain and a blending tool.
With Tim Holtz layering stencil flourish THS032 and Tim Holtz crackled paste opaque, i made the floral design. When dry, with a Tim Holtz distress blending brush, i applied gathered twigs distress crayon on top.
THE EMBELLISHMENTS
The frame: i took a Tim Holtz idea-ology baroque frames findings, applied Tim Holtz distress collage medium matte, let it dry. Applied black gesso, let it dry. And finally added gold patina with my fingers.The i cut a picture of my daughter and glued it into the frame.With hot glue, i glued the frame on the tag.
The paint brush: i took an old paint brush of my stash, rolled some wire around and glued it with hot glue.
The ribbons: in the tag's hole, i attached two ribbons of my stash.
