Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge/ WEDDING:ANNIVERSARY

Publié le

Hi everyone and welcome to an other week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge blog.

WEDDING/ANNIVERSARY

My last week in the designer spotlight đŸ˜ą

The lovely folks at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away e FABULOUS 25$ voucher to shop at Simon Says Stamp store. All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies and make something following the week's prompt. How awesome is that!

This week, i made a 5/7 inches wedding card.

THE BACKGROUND

I used a 5/7 inches Tim Holtz white ink yupo paper and applied alcohol inks ( shell pink, fixative snow cap, alloy statue) and alcohol blending solution. First, i put drops of blending solution, then drops of each color of alcohol ink and blowed with a straw.

THE ARCHES

I used SPELLBINDERS essential arches etched die to cut 4 arches in  Neenah crest ultra thick 110 LB smooth solar white paper , glued them together and inked the edges with Tim Holtz walnut stain Distress ink.

Then in the alcohol ink background, with SPELLBINDERS color block accent arches etched dies, i die cut a frame. Then stamped it with Simon Says Stamp rose lattice background stamp and white STAZON.

ASSEMBLAGE

In Neenah crest ultra thick 110 LB smooth solar white paper, i cut a 10/7 inches piece and fold it in half.

I cut the alcohol ink background to 4 3/4 and 6 3/4 inches and glued it on the card base. Then, with white thread, sew all around the alcohol ink paper.

I glued the 4 arches on the alcohol inked background.

THE FOCAL POINT

I stamped the bride with Tim Holtz CMS214 and VERSAMARK ink, and embossed with RANGER embossing powder gold. I fussy cut it with scissors and and glued it in the middle with Simon Says Stamp 3D white foam squares.

THE SENTIMENT

In  Neenah crest ultra thick 110 LB smooth solar white paper, withTim Holtz SIZZIX handwritten celebrate die, i die cut 5 times the word celebrate and glued each one on top of the other, except the loops of the l and the b, and the point of the t; i let only one layer for these tops letters as i had to glue the top on the arch multiple layers.

TO FINISH

I cut a little piece of lace, fold it in half and glued it, under the top right part of the arches.

I cut a 4 3/4 piece of lace, glued it on the bottom of the alcohol inked background and glued the sentiment on top.

Randomly, i glued white pearls.

I wish you get inspired. It's time for you to create.

Thanks for stopping by.
