An other make for the new Simon says stamp Monday challenge: MIXED MEDIA

The clip board:

I distressed it with black soot & picket fence Tim Holtz Ranger distress paint. Ans black soot distress crayon all around the edges.     I distressed the metal clip with black soot distress paint.

The background:

On Tim Holtz DISTRESS WHITE HEAVY STOCK , with versamark ink, stamp with the Tim Holtz stamp bubbles and emboss with Simon Says Stamp white embossing powder. Apply distress ink with a blending tool: mustard seed for the sun on the top right corner, tumbled glass for the sky on the top, and for the see, uncharted mariner at the bottom, then salty ocean, the mermaid lagoon. With a damp cloth, wipe off the ink on the embossed areas.

Randomly, after inking with vintage photo distress ink, glue Tim Holtz SNIPPETS and put walnut stain distress crayon around the edges of each snippet and fade it with your finger.

All over the background, stamp randomly with a text stamp and ground espresso archival ink.

Sea horse o the right:

In a cheap piece of cardstock, with the Sizzix Tim Holtz die SAND & SEA, cut the sea horse and use it as a stencil with Ranger Tim Holtz opaque crackle paste. Apply crushed olive distress crayon with a Tim Holtz blending brush.

Ink Tim Holtz MUMMY CLOTH with peeled paint distress ink , dry and glue at the bottom.

The elements:

In cardboard and white paper, cut the sea horse and the star fish withe the SIZZIX BIGZ DIE sand and sea.  With the sizzix bigz die STEAMPUNK PARTS cut the porthole, the head screws and the propeller. Glue the white die cuts on the cardboard ones.

The sea horse: cover the entire surface with opaque crackle paste. Let it dry and apply distress crayon: vintage photo at the top and shaded lilac at the bottom. Glue it.

The porthole and the head screws: Glue the head screws on the  front circle, and several half circle behind the top. Randomly and all over the edges apply distress opaque crackle paste, let it dry. With the blending brush, apply brushed pewter, peeled paint and vintage photo distress crayon. Glue a piece of acetate behind. On the background, glue some real little shells and on them, the porthole, the thicker part up.

The star fish: Ink it with distress inks, put some white dots with a white pen. Glue it.

The propeller: cover it with Tim Holtz metallic kraft stock, distress it wit sand paper and put black soot distress crayon. Glue it.

To finish, you can attach snippets withe jute string and glue them at the top.

And it's done.

Every week you can participate to the challenge and could be the  25 $ voucher winner .

And you could have the pleasure to be featured in the designer spotlight
