Simon says stamp Monday challenge: SOMETHING with WINGS

Publié le

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge :
SOMETHING with WINGS

This month, i'm very happy to be into the Designer Spotlight.

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following the week’s prompt. How AWESOME is that!!

I chose an old canvas

I wanted to use the backside and chose what to put inside

- Tim Holtz idea-ology 2024 Halloween transparencies moths

-  Tim Holtz idea-ology paper doll glues with double  3D faom tae

Tim Holtz idea-ology salvaged heart painted red as shown in a Tim Holtz demo video.

- Tim Holtz idea-ology ephemera pack

Tim Holtz idea-ology transparent layers

I had to make a beautiful frame

- hot glue gun

- you can use stamperia silicone mold greek borders A5 mold kacma

Once glued on the canvas, i painted the frame with Dina Wakley black gesso

First gluing the frame, i painted the wood in gold but it didn't work. So in cardboard, i cut an other 5/8 inch frame, painted it in gold with gold Aladine paint and glued it on the wood.

Now it's time to put inside all i chose and more.

- Tim Holtz idea-ology wallflower paper for the background. It is an old block but i'm sure you can find a new one.

Tim Holtz idea-ology arrows adornments metal attached with wire and hot glue

- Tim Holtz idea-ology metal word plaque distressed with antique bronze et scorched timber distress crayons

Tim Holtz idea-ology long fasteners hardware

I wish you get inspired. It's time for you to create.

Thanks for stopping by.
